Telecommunications network integrator Core180 hires Environics Communications
Agency expands roster of technology clients; Core180's business model unique in telecommunications industry
Washington, February 23, 2009 – Core180, a leading telecommunications network integrator, has hired Environics Communications to develop and implement its 2009 public relations program. Environics will be providing message strategy, ongoing media relations, industry analyst relations, special events and trade show marketing to Core180.
Core180 offers Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) solutions to help customers greatly increase their networking options while reducing costs, manpower and time to market.
With Core180's NaaS, businesses can choose only the services that fit their current needs without the hassles of negotiating with carriers, trying to fit into a preexisting "one-size-fits-all" solution, or stitching together their own domestic or international network. In addition, with NaaS businesses can quickly change the configuration of the network as their needs change.
Core180 is the sole subcontractor on a multibillion dollar telecommunications contract for the Defense Information Systems Network (DISN). The company also recently announced a high-bandwidth contract with Deluxe Entertainment Services Group (Deluxe), where multi-terabyte entertainment content will be transported between Deluxe's locations in North America, Europe, India and Australia/New Zealand.
"We selected Environics because of their demonstrated track record of working with business-to-business companies in the technology and telecommunications industries," says David Baule CEO of Core180. "They understand what makes our company unique, and how to tell our story to the government and commercial sectors in Washington, New York, and nationwide."
"Core180 has a unique approach to providing telecommunications networks for its customers, and we look forward to working with them to expand their business," added Dave Groobert, general manager of Environics' U.S. operations.
